When does By the Creek 2026 take place?
By the Creek takes place on 4 and 5 July 2026 from 1PM to 11PM.
When will the programme be announced?
The first wave programme will be announced during the pre-registration period, before the regular sale starts.

What is the location of By the Creek?

Is there a shuttle bus?
Yes, the shuttle buses depart from Utrecht Central Station. The exact location will be announced later. Shuttle buses will run throughout the day between Utrecht Central and the event, depending on demand. Make sure you’re well-prepared and purchase your return ticket in advance via the ticket shop.
Where does the shuttle bus back to Utrecht Centraal Station depart from?
From the exit, it’s about an 8-minute walk straight ahead to the shuttle bus stop, located near the Van der Valk Hotel in Vianen.
Can I buy shuttle bus tickets at the festival?
Unfortunately, tickets for the shuttle bus are not available at the festival, even for the return trip. We recommend purchasing your return ticket in advance through the ticket shop.
I’m coming by public transport, which route should I follow?
The nearest stops are 'Lekbrug Oost' or 'Lekbrug West' bus stops. Check your travel route in advance. From the Lekbrug stops in Vianen, it’s about a 15-minute walk to Recreatieterrein Middelwaard.
I’m coming by bike, is there a bike parking area?
Yes, there are bike parking areas near the entrance and exit of the festival. After the event, bike parking areas and any left-behind bikes or scooters will be cleared, so make sure to take yours with you.
Taxi/Uber/Kiss & Ride
If you’re being dropped off or picked up, this is possible at the designated location. You can find the link to the location on our website.
Is there parking near the venue?
We recommend using alternative transport to By the Creek. There are shuttle buses from Utrecht Centraal, and the venue is easily accessible by bike, scooter, taxi, or public transport. If you’re driving, note that parking is limited and located about 20 minutes on foot from the entrance. Parking tickets can be purchased in the ticket shop.
